My name is Bristi which means “Rain.” I am from Sherpur and I have two daughters.
My life has been very painful. When my first husband left me, I traveled alone to Dhaka.I met bad friends at the Mazar [a local religious shrine where women and children are at high risk of exploitation], who led me into bad things.
Now I have a good family. I am now able to lead a good life free from drugs and bad work. I learned so much about how to live a good life at CUP and my life has changed dramatically.
I want to live my life honestly – to live a life pleasing to God. I have a good opportunity at Basha and I want to do my work well. I want my daughters to grow up to be respectable women.
