My Name is Pritty. I work in the textile department at Basha Enterprises. I have a son. I studied through grade 5. My family arranged my marriage at a very early age. After six months of marriage, I got pregnant. When my husband found out, he started abusing me regularly for the dowry, so I escaped to my parent’s house. I started working as a maid for some families, but there, I faced violence and they didn’t pay me regularly. I had to leave my parent’s house.
Now, I am living with my aunt and working at Basha. This is a dignified job that changes my life. I want my son to be a good man, not like his father. He will take care of me when I am old.
