My name is Saleha. I work at Basha Enterprises in the textile department. When I was ten years old, I lost both of my parents within three months. I have suffered a lot in my life. I started working at garments factory at a very young age. My husband did not allow me to work at garments. However, he did not provide for the family. He would leave for months at a time. Whenever he left home, we suffered so much. I had to beg from door to door to feed my children. Now I see a new dream. Even if my husband leaves us, I am not scared. I have a job. I can feed my children. Sometimes my husband tells me to leave this job but I reply to him, “I can leave you, not my work.” I have security. I want to continue to work at Basha as long as I can.
